My girls  LOVE Dr. Grace because she takes the time to talk to THEM during their visits!  I love her because she LISTENS to ME when there is something wrong. Dr. Grace is a mother, and recognizes the importance of a healthy parent/doctor relationship. She knows her patients by name, not by their file number.  She has such a warm personality and my children were just drawn to her instantly.  We did not start out in her practice, she was actually covering for our pediatrician one afternoon— but after we saw her, my girls wanted to switch so we did. This was the best decision!

Dr. Grace’s office staff are clearly a huge part of our love for her practice, they too know the children by name, and we are always greeted with a smile.  I have always been able to schedule an appointment when I needed one, they once offered me a private room to nurse my newborn baby one afternoon because they knew they had sick children coming into the lobby- they go above and beyond the call of duty each and every visit.

We are so blessed to have found a practice where the doctor feels more like family than a pediatrician.”

“I am the mother of 3 boys and we transferred to Dr. Grace when my youngest was 2 weeks old. He is now 18 months. What a difference Dr. Grace made! We had been with our other pediatrician’s office for more than 12 years and I honestly had no idea what we were missing out on when we switched. Dr. Grace listens and answers every question we have at every visit. When we brought our baby home, after 3 weeks, we knew he had something wrong. While he never showed any signs while in her office, through listening, understanding and her experience, she knew what was wrong (acid reflux) and she worked with us very closely to find the best treatment for him. My 4-year old absolutely loves going to see Dr. Grace. With 2 young boys (18 months and 4 years) we sometimes are in the office way more than we would like to be and Forest Hill Pediatrics has been labeled “our second home” in more ways than one.

Dr. Grace has the best bedside manner and gives solid direction on what is best. We’ve never had a problem getting a same-day appointment and we’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our appointments (and to me this is unheard of today).

Switching to Dr. Grace was one of the best decisions! I honestly wish I had switched years before so that my oldest son would have had better pediatric care and better memories.”

“A year and a half ago, we moved to Pennsylvania. I chose to stay with Dr. Kobusingye, knowing that she would be an hour away from me. I chose not to switch doctors for many reasons…

1. My children and I know and trust Dr. Kobusingye.
2. Dr. Kobusingye is always available to me to answer any questions or concerns I may have about my children.
3. I have said many times how sorry I am to bother her, and her reply is always, “You are not a bother, that’s why I’m here.”
4. If I am ever worried about my kids, she always knows just what to say to make me feel better.
5. She makes sure I know when there is time for concern and when there is not.

Whenever I take my kids to Dr. Kobusingye, she is always knowledgeable in any diagnosis or advice she gives me. She is aware that I have moved to Pennsylvania, but would not leave her.  She is so modest that she doesn’t understand why I still take my kids to her. She has a dedication to her job that is admirable. Knowing how far away I live and that I have four children, Dr. Kobusingyedoes everything she can to help me out in whatever situations may arise.

I recommended Dr. Kobusingye to my mom, my aunts, and recently my second cousin. It’s like a family reunion if we ever have to be there at the same time. My best friend that recommended me to Dr. Kobusingye takes her four children to her as well. My friend also has family members that take their children to Dr. Kobusingye.

Dr. Kobusingye is a parent herself. Any parent knows that there is nothing more important in the world to us than our children, and Dr. Kobusingye knows and understands that. If anyone is looking for a pediatrician, for whatever reason… Maybe you are a first time mom, or maybe you have searched for years and have not found a pediatrician that suits you and your child(ren)… I suggest you give Dr. Grace Kobusingye a try.  I know you will be happy about this decision… as I am!”
